You'll join a small, senior mobile team building production apps for clients across retail, hospitality and logistics - loyalty apps, booking platforms, tracking and dispatch consoles. Most engagements run on a shared Flutter or React Native codebase, which means you'll ship to iOS and Android from one build, not two parallel teams.

This isn't a maintenance role. You'll be involved from architecture decisions through to release, including scoping which AI features are actually worth building for a given client versus which ones are hype for that use case - a judgment call our mobile practice lead will work through with you directly.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications in Flutter or React Native for client accounts.
  • Implement on-device personalisation features - notification ranking, recommendation logic, predictive UX.
  • Scope and build agentic in-app features that complete multi-step tasks for the user.
  • Work with the client's existing systems (PMS, WMS, ERP) to integrate mobile apps into their broader stack.
  • Design consent-aware data capture aligned with DPDP requirements from the schema level up.
  • Participate in architecture and code review for the mobile practice.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of mobile development experience, with strong Flutter or React Native experience.
  • Comfort with state management, API integration and native-bridge work when required.
  • Experience shipping apps to production on both iOS and Android.
  • Understanding of mobile app performance, retention metrics and release cycles.
  • Ability to work directly with client stakeholders during scoping conversations.

Nice to have, not required

  • Experience integrating on-device ML models or personalisation SDKs.
  • Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience for hardware-heavy features.
  • Exposure to DPDP or GDPR-aligned data architecture.

Questions about this role

Frequently asked

No - genuine curiosity about it matters more than prior production experience, since the field is new for most engineers right now. We'll pair you with our mobile practice lead on your first agentic feature.

Roughly split, depending on the client engagement. Strong depth in one and working comfort in the other is the ideal profile; we're not looking for equal mastery of both on day one.

Not required. Most of our client work uses a shared cross-platform codebase with thin native shells, so deep native expertise is a nice-to-have for the specific engagements that need it, not a baseline requirement.

Building features that run inference locally on the device rather than shipping raw user behaviour to a server - notification ranking, recommendation logic, predictive UX. You don't need a machine-learning background; you need to be comfortable integrating an on-device model into a mobile app.
