Show people that we are much more than our most recognised slipper. Give every power brand its own stage, and make sure all of it clearly belongs to us.- Our reading of the brief handed to Milleniance at the start of the engagement
The client is an age-old footwear company, universally recognised for its white and blue slippers. That recognition was both an asset and a ceiling: it kept the company in the public mind as a mass manufacturer, even as its portfolio grew into a set of strong, distinct power brands.
Those brands had no shared digital home, and the underlying technology was dated. The company needed to be seen as a reputed footwear brand in its own right, and as a large company that stands above any single product.
Rather than build one site and bolt brands onto it, we designed the brand architecture first: each power brand gets its own microsite with its own personality, while the parent site holds them together and positions the company as the larger story.
The e-commerce store was rebuilt on a modern stack alongside it, with a graphics and animation layer that gives the whole experience the polish a leading footwear brand should have.
