How Milleniance Enhanced Security, User Experience, and Boosted Registrations for UN-APCTT's Technology Transfer Portal
Client - UNAPCTT
Category - Technology- International Organization
Medium - WebPortal
Brief:
The webportal, developed using PHP and MySQL, faced daily security breaches and suffered from poor user experience. Our task was to secure the portal and enhance its UI/UX.
Idea:
Our solution was to migrate the portal to a Content Management System CMS that could be easily updated by UN officials with basic computer knowledge while providing enterprise-level security
Execution:
WechoseDrupal 9.0 for its superior security features. By implementing custom themes and modules, we significantly enhanced the portal's functionality and user experience. We adhered to United Nations guidelines, ensuring a professional look and feel throughout the portal. Our security measures made it extremely difficult to breach the website, even with targeted attacks.
Outcome:
In just two months, our dedicated team delivered a secure, user-friendly portal. The project passed a third-party VAPT Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) and saw a 3Xincrease in registrations within the first quarter of launch. Over 70% of traffic originated from APAC countries, excluding India.
