Brief

Frvego a super foods brand wished to grow its Instagram audience, increase brand awareness, and enhance engagement with younger users. They had a decent following but reels were under-utilized. The goal was to make Reels a core part of their content strategy to attract new followers and reinforce brand identity.

Idea

Craft reels with strong visual storytelling — destination snippets, travel tips, adventure moments, lifestyle scenes (if applicable). Capitalize on trending travel & adventure themes (packing tips, destination reveals, “day trip inspirations”). Use influencer-generated content (micro-influencers with engaged travel-focused audiences) to harness niche reach. Introduce humor & relatability: user-generated style, reaction or POV (point of view) reels to tap into emerging trends. Optimize for discoverability: trending audios, timely content around seasons/holidays/travel peaks, high-value thumbnails.

Execution

Produced 12 reels across four weeks: two destination reveal/“travel inspo” reels, one packing/tips reel, one POV adventure reel, one client testimonial/user experience reel. Engaged two micro-travel influencers who had 10–50k followers with high engagement, who shot content (video clips) during their trips, which were edited into reels for Frvego. Incorporated drone / aerial shots (where possible) for destination reveals; used motion graphics & slow-mo for dramatic effect. Tested different audio tracks (trends vs ambient/mood music) to see which style elicited more retention. Posted reels during peak travel content interest times (holiday periods, weekends), promoted via Instagram Stories and asked influencers to cross-share.

Outcome

New follower growth rate increased by ~50% in that month compared to prior month. Average reach per reel rose by ~2.8×; destination reels and POV reels had especially strong reach. Engagement (shares, saves, comments) doubled; packing/tips reel became one of the top saved content pieces. Increased brand mentions and user-generated content: fans started tagging Frvego in their travel photos & reels. Traffic to the website via Instagram reels increased by ~35%, and inquiries/bookings (if applicable) saw a ~25% boost.
